Geocache Description:

Here goes:  Our latest movie trivia cache.  This one uses several of our fave films, most of which have had "staying power" over the years.

The cache is not at the placed pin on the map; it's a few minutes drive away.

The cache is at:

N47° 38.ABC' W52° 43.DEF'

Where A through F are found by considering the following movie-related clues.  In each case, if you click on the picture, you will get a movie clip or trailer to help with the clue.

A = In the original 1968 version of The Thomas Crown Affair, Steve McQueen and Faye Dunaway pull off performances that redefined 'cool'.  For A, first note Thomas Crown's polo number; the polo number is "X".  Then note what percentage Vicki will get for catching Thomas Crown and retrieving the stolen cash.  Vicki's percentage is "Y0%".  A = X + Y.

B = In Bruce Lee's classic "Enter the Dragon", how many "Deadly" martial artists were brought to Han's island?

= When Martin Scorcese's The Departed was released in 1996, flip phones were all the rage as cellphones, not what we have now.  For the flip phones used in the movie which were so key to the plot, there was a number under each of the "Talk", "Speaker" and "End" buttons.  C equals the number found under the "Speaker" number times 3, plus the number found under the "End" button.  (i.e. = 3x(number under "Speaker" + number under "End")

D = In Leon: The Professional, Jean Reno and a very young Natalie Portman give incredible performances.  In the "open the door" scene, how many times in total does Mathilda have to ring the doorbell before she gets a response?

E = Not exactly a classic, but a very interesting movie with a very unique premise.  Adeline Bowman, played by Blake Lively in The Age of Adeline undergoes an unexpected, amazing transformation in the year ABCD.  She stops aging. This, of course, has some serious consequences on her life - and her own outlook on how to appropriately live that life.  If you have ever hated the idea of aging, or felt that aging has no purpose, The Age of Adeline may give you some interesting food for thought.   = B - (A + C + D).

F = In "On the Waterfront", when Terry and Charlie are in the back of the car, sharing their souls, Terry lays it on the line.  After Terry tells his brother "It was you, Charlie", note the number of times that Charlie says "okay"; let this be "X".   = 4X.

Okay - this brings us to the end of our movie quiz!  Think you've got all of the correct answers?  Throw your best guesses into the checker below, and off you go to make the find!

The cache is a 500mL screw top container.  Park carefully and watch the traffic at GZ.  (They are so busy and in a tizzy, trust me, they're barely watching you,)
