Welcome to Newforge Lane!
This cache is located just off Newforge Lane. Newforge is a very thin lane, at parts only big enough for one car to pass! The cache is located at a patch of trees just off the main tow-path. Due to tree coverage the co-ordinates may be slightly off however I have provided a helpful hint to bring you to the tree. The cache container itself is a Tupperware container, about the size of an ammo-can. There is some SWAG items contained inside, the cache is also suitable for TB’s. When replacing the cache please ensure to cover it up with some leaves. For transport to this location I would recommend travelling by car, bike or foot. A car park is located about 150 metres away and for cyclists and pedestrians the cache is located just off National Cycle Network 9. There is public transport to this location, however it is incredibilly infrequent with one bus at 08:30 from Belfast that doesn’t make a return journey. The same applies at 17:20, however the bus goes into Belfast and doesn’t make a journey up. This is metro route 93 for anyone hoping to use it.
