È dedicata alla Città di Asolo, uno dei borghi più belli d’Italia.
Abitata fin dall’antichità, Asolo fu un Municipium romano e sulla sua direttrice fu tracciata un'importante strada che la collegava a Padova, la via Aurelia.
Ma è con l’età Medievale che la viabilità e le case assumono l’aspetto ancora oggi visibili e soprattutto venne costruito il castello sopra uno sperone di roccia conglomeratica. Il castello, menzionato per la prima volta nell’Editto di Pergine di Ottone I del 969, venne abitato da Ezzelino da Romano (che lo conquistò attorno alla metà del 1200) e, tra la fine del 1400 e l’inizio del 1500, dalla Regina di Cipro Caterina Cornaro che lo trasformò in residenza per lei e la sua numerosa corte.

It is dedicated to the City of Asolo, one of the most beautiful towns in Italy.
Inhabited since ancient times, Asolo was a Roman Municipium and an important road that connected it to Padua, the Via Aurelia, was traced on its route.
But it is with the Medieval age that the roads and houses take on the appearance still visible today and above all the castle was built on a conglomerate rock spur.
