This cache was actually placed as part of the Continental Challenge series about 2 years ago. But, as we all know, life gets in the way and we never published it.
Yesterday, for Mrs D's birthday, we were in the area caching and decided to check up on the health of CC#2 just up the road and remembered that we had placed this one. It's so well hidden that we ourselves had a bit of a time of it!
It's still there right where we put it, oh so long ago and its not going anywhere!
So, this cache is really a lonely cache on a lonely road, even if we only just published it.
Please take the drive up here and enjoy the views. The road is narrow at times so please be careful. There is a nice sized pull-out at the cache site. There has been no poison oak at the time of placement or since at the cache site, just weeds to fill your socks and shoes.
