Geocache Description:

This cache is the mystery cache associated with the Deadman's Bay Path series of cache which were hidden in June / July 2019.

This cache is at the location:

N47° 31.ABC' W52° 41.DEF'

where:

A = If you wish to start at the community of Blackhead and hike to Fort Amherst through Deadman's Bay Path, you can start at our cache "Blackhead to Deadman's 1: Begin at the Bridge",  GC8AN3A.  The posted coordinates for this cache are:  N 47° 31.562' W 052° 3A.412'.

B = If you'd rather start at Fort Amherst, then start with "Deadman's Bay Path 1: Up and At It!", GC88DHC.  That has posted coordinates of: N 47° 33.787 W 052° B0.987

C = Another option is to come in to Shea Heights, and follow a service road until you hit the East Coast Trail.  If you do so, the first cache in the series that you will hit will be "Deadman's Bay Path 11: The Sandy Bottom Junction", GC89WPM.  The posted coordinates for this one are:
N 47° 32.66X' W 052° 4Y.770'.  C = X - Y.

D = One of the surprise "finds" on this cache series was finding Gunner's Cove, "Deadman's Bay Path 17: Gunner's Cove", GC89XVJ.  This is such a cool spot.  The cache here can be found at: N 47° 32.534' W 052° 4D.220'.

= One of the most beautiful natural places upon the trail in July 2019 was in the area of the cache "Blackhead to Deadman's 5: Fern Hill", GC8AN6W.  This quotes a Dylan Thomas poem in the description.  Dylan Marlais Thomas passed away on E November, 1953.

F = The cache "Blackhead to Deadman's 10: Peggy's Leg", GC8ARHK, is at an incredible viewpoint.  It is at the coordinates of N 47° 32.02Z W 052° 40.460.  F = Z + 1.

As I post these pictures to go along with this mystery cache, I reflect upon the last few weeks of hiking, and the geocaches that I have hid in these incredible places along the way.  Every time I hide a cache I think of you, finding the cache, and also enjoying the hike and the experience.  I am so grateful for the health we have, and the ability to share this friendship though geocaching.

Enjoy, my friends.
