The Pinnacle

The Pinnacle is a big chunk of rock that refuses to erode with the rest of the Mount Warning caldera. There's a National Parks lookout up there, and you can even climb out to the end. But that's not for everyone. Some people don't like heights, or risking their life in pursuit of a smiley - so this cache is for them. 

At GZ, you get a magnificent view up towards the Pinnacle. You can see just how massive and hostile the terrain is up there, all from the comfort of your vehicle. 

This cache is located at the end of Pinnacle Road. Such an original name deserves an original cache. A small waterproof container awaits the avid finder with a logbook, pencil and just a few trinkets. There is no access to the National Park, or to the Pinnacle from GZ.
