  1. To gather with friends and enjoy the taste of beer. (To gather with friends and enjoy the company of fellow cachers.)
  2. To celebrate those responsible for brewing and serving beer. (To celebrate those responsible for creating and hiding caches.)
  3. To unite the world under the banner of beer, by celebrating the beers of all nations together on a single day. (To unite the world under the banner of geocaching, by celebrating the caches of all nations together.)
