Shiroyama Park.
The Shiroyama Park is located in 3.5 kilometers from the JR Okegawa station west exit. The west side of the park is "Mitsugi Castle ruins" and it is the origin of the name of the park.
The park is 10.3ha large. There is a pond, children’s playthings, multipurpose grounds, tennis courts and zyabu-zyabu ponds (zyabu-zyabu ponds is ponds which children dabble in the summer) in the park. You can have a barbecue in the park. There are more than 300 cherry trees in the park and cherry blossoms are beautiful in the spring.
There is a free parking for visitors. The open time of the parking is from 6:00 to 19:00. And there are bus services form JR Okegawa station to the park.
- Take a Tobu Bus for JR Kawagoe Station from JR Okegawa Station West Exit, get off at “Kawataya Brunch” bus stop and 2 minutes’ walk.
- Take a city bus “Benibana-Go” for “Nishi-junkan” or “Sotomawari-Tozai-junkan” from JR Okegawa Station West Exit, get off at “Shiroya Koen nishiguchi” bus stop.

城山公園
城山公園は、JR桶川駅西口から約3.5kmに位置します。公園の西側に「三ツ木城」があったことが、この公園の名前の由来です。
城山公園は、10.3haあり、池・遊具・多目的グラウンド・テニスコート・ジャブジャブ池があります。また、バーベキュができます。園内には、300本以上の桜があり、春には鮮やかに咲きます。
車の方は、無料駐車場を使用してください。無料駐車場は、6:00～19:00まで開いています。公共交通を利用の方は、北本駅からバスが出ていますので、それを利用してください。
- JR桶川駅西口から東武バス「川越駅行き」にて「川田谷支所」下車 徒歩2分
- 市内循環バス「西循環」または「外回り東西循環」にて西19番「城山公園西口前」下車
週末には、マグルが大勢いますので、マグルに注意してキャッシュを探してください。
