Attending a Cache In, Trash Out (CITO) event is a great way to meet new geocaching friends and to help give back to the areas where we play. Geocaching HQ has officially adopted the Fremont neighborhood through the City's Adopt-a-Street program. The city provides the supplies, and we supply the people power. We have committed to do at least four cleanups per year in the Fremont area. This will be one of them!
As part of this cleanup, I hope to send a group out to cleanup the Stairs of Queen Anne (a cache location for We R Here, one of the CITO regulars).
As most of my regular CITO participants know, my geocaching goal for 2019 is to host a CITO event every month (gasp). I'm more than half-way done!
As before, I will bring all the supplies needed - bags, gloves, litter grabbers, and safety vests. Please log your "Will Attend" so I bring enough supplies. I look forward to seeing everyone.
This event is possible because of the City of Seattle's Adopt-a-Street program. But it's powered by geocachers.
Event occurs, rain or shine, or even snow! This is Seattle after all!
