** I recommend reading cache description and hint in full (or atleast screenshotting) before going up as reception isnt great up there **
Move over Kalbarri... the North West Cape Range has it's own Natural window and it's in the shape of Australia 🇦🇺 Pretty magic really!!
BYO Pen as the log is inside a small binson tube which is somewhat camouflaged with no room for anything else... this cache is definately about the location! Enclosed shoes and longs pants are recommended for this one. I probably wouldn't recommend it for kids under 10 years of age... although our 8 year old loved every second of it.
Take your time & enjoy the drive out along the Shothole Canyon road, I'd personally recommend going to the end first (where you may stumble upon another cache😜) then on the way back you will spot this window from the track. Choose your parking spot and venture up from there.
Watch your step and be aware of loose rocks under foot. You can pick your path up by following a water run off. When you get to the top you will access the window from behind, when you step in you will notice it resembles the shape of Australia (Sorry Tassie you miss out again). From here pop your head around the corner of "WA" where the cache is tucked away. It's a little bit trickier to come down but just take your time.
Be sure to share your amazing pics of this one, I'd love to see the view through different times of the year and day! 📷
