This cache was placed in the new Story Mill Community Park, just one day after its grand opening. This beautiful park has two sections -- one a more traditional park, with playgrounds, a parking lot and pavilion, then a Nature Sanctuary section with restored floodplains and marshlands.
Dogs are not permitted in this section of the park. The park is open from 5am to 11pm
This is a camo'd cache in the Nature Sanctuary section, in an area called the River Walk. The cache is just off the trail from the park's Bird Blind. First you'll need to walk or bike to the Bird Blind, then take a short path about 50 paces into the woods. In the summer, the plants are high -- you may want to wear long pants or closed-toed shoes.
