Our first (my kids and I) cache, in a place we stop at often.
The Nelson County Wayside is dedicated to the memory of those lost during the Hurricane Camille disaster. On Aug. 20, 1969, torrential rains from the remnants of Hurricane Camile devastated this area. Rainfall in excess of 25 inches largely within a 5-hour period swept away or buried many miles of roads, more than 100 bridges and more than 900 buildings. At least 125 people died in Nelson County alone.
The cache is located in this wayside park, which lies along the Rockfish River. You're looking for a green ammo box. Inside is a log and some some items to trade.
Congrats to Team FairCorn for the FTF!
