The Geocache map seems to be a bit devoid of caches in the Rhyl area. As an attempt to rectify this I will set some more caches in this series in the coming months .Good hunting and hope you enjoy these caches.
This cache is on the promenade opposite the site of the Grange Hotel. I had to replace the original cache as building work to develop the site as apartments is taking place.
The Grange was a popular watering hole in the 60’s. Unfortunately it was closed in the late 90’s and burnt down in 2008.
It was popular with locals for christenings weddings birthdays, in fact I had my 21st at The Grange many years ago!!
In the days when bars closed at 10.30pm it is said that the back bar at the Grange was open all hours
This cache has a higher difficulty rating due to muggle activity in area. Car parking is pay and display at GZ so be warned!
