Many of the graves at this cemetery are from the founding members of the nearby towns of Urbana and Wayne. Many of the headstones are too old to be legible but a few show dates from the 1800s. at aproximately 1850ft high, Mt Washington is one of the higher points of Steuben County. If you travel from county route 113, you will find a nice view of the neighboring hills and valleys. Summertime finds may even be rewarded with the sweet smell of honeysuckle.
Take a walk through time and visit the graves of our local town founders. Please be respectful and don't litter. Parking is limited but allowed along the road so be careful getting in and out. congrats to Yalehockeymom on the ftf
