Number 1 in a series of caches celebrating the classified climbs of the Tour de France's visit to Yorkshire, and the Tour de Yorkshire. All the caches are at the top of climbs either into or out of Wharfedale. They're ideal for visiting by bike but all can be accessed by motorised transport, just remember that by the nature of the location they are close to sometimes busy roads, so please take care when finding.
The Cote de Cray, alternatively known as Kidstones, was the first climb used in the 2014 Tour de France, as the race made it's way from Leeds to Harrogate via a few scenic locations in the Dales. It's not been used in the Tour de Yorkshire but will be used for the men's road race at the 2019 World Championships.
