Koi fish – 226 years?
While most koi fish live a maximum of 50 years, one (named Hanako) apparently lived for 226 years. Scientists of the Laboratory of Animal Science at Nagoya Women’s College counted the rings on its scales to figure out its age. However, many people are still doubtful that Hanako actually lived to be 226 years old. Geocache Notification Form has been submitted to of the Wisconsin DNR. Geocaches placed on Wisconsin Department of Natural Resource managed lands require permission by means of a notification form. Please print out a paper copy of the notification form, fill in all required information, then submit it to the land manager.
