A morning event at the put in spot of Welland River. This event will be the starting point for those geocachers who will be participating with the Paddle on the Welland River outing; however, anyone who wants to stop by can also drop in. There will be no prizes, just an opportunity for geocachers to share some stories and to prepare for our outing. There will be an optional log book available to sign. After the event, for those participating in the outing, we will begin our geocaching paddling outing on the Welland River to the far end, near Waterview Court.
We would like to get on the water directly at 830am, so please make sure you get vehicles shuttled to the ending location (or anywhere else along the river where you might need to get out early). The best place to park for the end of the paddle is at the end of Waterview Crt, directly across the river from GC5PVJ1 Faded Marker Series: Price. There is a landing area and we have to walk up hill to the parking area.
