Brixen im Thale hat einen Airport – einen Modellflugplatz. Betrieben wird dieser vom Modellflugclub Brixental (MFC), welcher seit 1984 ansässig ist. Heute zählt der Club ca. 50 Mitglieder, die hier sowohl eine Start- bzw. Landebahn (100m x 12m) wie auch ein Clubhaus in Schuss halten. Geflogen werden unter anderem Motorflugzeuge, Elektroflugzeuge, Segler mit und ohne Antrieb, Verbrenner- und Elektrohubschrauber. Jets sind nur mit Turbinen bis zu einer maximalen Schubkraft von 8 kg erlaubt.
Gastflieger sind beim MFC Brixental gerne willkommen, sollten den Club aber vorher kontaktieren.

Brixen im Thale has an airport, although it is only for model aircraft. Since 1984, it has been operated by the Brixen Valley Model Aircraft Club. Today, it has approximately 50 members who enjoy the 100m x 12m takeoff/landing runway as well as a club house. Various aircraft including motorized and electric models, gliders (with motors and without) as well as motorized and electric helicopters take to the skies. Small jets with a maximum thrust of 8 kg are also allowed.
Guest pilots are welcome by the Brixen Valley Model Aircraft Club but they should first contact the club.

Brixen im Thale ha un’aeroporto che però è uno solo per aeromodelli. Dal 1984 viene gestito dalla Modellflugclub Brixental, che oggi ha circa 50 membri. Il Club è sempre aperto anche per visitatori.
