Over the years I’ve noticed that many newbies start out their geocaching adventures in Shady Shores Park. In fact, my first find, cache now archived, was in this same neighborhood.
So, in an effort to make our neighborhood a geocaching hotspot I’m placing some of my favorite kinds around the place.
This particular find/container was new to me in 2017 and since then it’s become a favorite. I intend for this find to be an easy find to ensure a newbie would have a great chance at making the find. Because of the micro sized container no first to find prize ...sorry. But we will all sing your praises as you happy dance your achievement. and with the size in mind, as usual, bring a pen!
Finally, this is an easy park and grab with side street parking for your stealthy swift find. Additionally, this is on public property but near private proprty. Do NOT go on the lawn. When you get to GZ, STOP, look around you and ponder where this hide could be before you venture around. There is no need to leave the public road.
And, if you are so inclined, bring a swimsuit and take a dip at the near by swimming hole.
