Originally in 1924 the main theatre of the Arta Cinema was used as a ballroom of the elegant Hotel Central.
During the period 1987-1989, the first and the last major works aimed at the redevelopment of the Arta Cinema building formally called Tineretului, were made after the Corso Cinema!
Cinema Arta is made up of 289 seats. The summer garden has a capacity of 400 seats. In 2011 the City Hall of Arad took over the Arta Cinema building and in 2014 it started it`s rehabilitation.
