Based on feedback from Everhollow (who clearly has oodles more experience than we do), the difficulty (due to height) and terrain (due to distance) ratings have both been increased to 2.0.
This cache requires people to take a walk (or bike ride). It is not accessible by car. You will need to park on the street near the trailhead.
The path is quiet generally, so you will likely not be bothered by many muggles (but still keep an eye out).
We ride bikes here as a family on a regular basis. There are some interesting sights to see, particlarly in early summer when all the ducklings are hatching. We have also seen a muskrat in the first pond with the boardwalk running over it. The path is paved all the way to 114th Street.
Although this cache is very small (pill bottle), we did manage to squeeze in some little treasures for the kids :) Please be kind and replace what you take with something of equal or greater value. You will need to get creative and bring very tiny things only if you plan to swap. Thanks!
