Lindenplatz

Der Lindenplatz ist eine historische Wegkreuzung zwischen Allschwil und Basel. Um den Lindenplatz entwickelte sich der Allschwiler Ortsteil Neu-Allschwil. Die erste Bebauung entstand südlich entlang der Baslerstrasse. In der weiteren Entwicklung entstanden rechtswinklig zur Baslerstrasse liegende Quartierstrassen. Dadurch bildete sich bei der Wegkreuzung ein dreickiger Platz – der Lindenplatz.

Lindenplatz

Lindeplatz is a historical crossing between Allschwil and Basel. Around Lindenplatz the part of Neu-Allschwil has been developed. The first buildings were built south of the Baslerstrasse. With further development, suburban streets were oriented in a rectangular shape. Due to this a crossing was built as a triangle – the area that is now Lindenplatz.
