Geocache Description:


The geocache is not at the posted coordinates. To determine the final coordinates you will need to first visit three locations to get some helpful information. The final coordinates are in the following format:
N 34° 32.abc' W 77° de.fgh'

Location #1: At the Boat Ramp there is an info kiosk with some small signs on both sides.
a = first digit in the address on the sign - 1
b = first digit following the "$" on one of the signs.
c = number of "Z"s on the diamond shape sign.

Location #2: At this virtual location, you can view from Burgaw Creek, the right side on the house with the air conditioning unit.
d = top number + 1 on the front of the house.
e = number of small windows on the right side of house.
f = number of large windows + 1 on the right side of house.

Location #3: At this virtual location you can observe an old deck with some new steps.
g = number of vertical posts + 1 to the right side of the staircase on the creek side.
h = number of "Beware of Alligators" signs posted on this deck + 5.

The final location is at the base of one of the many trees in the middle of the nicely shaded Burgaw Creek. To get to the final destination, you will need to use a small kayak where larger boats will find it very unnavigable. Round trip from the posted coordinates for the Boat Ramp is less than nine miles. Due to posted signs and dangerous wildlife that may be present in this area, please stay in your kayak where you should be fine. Enjoy the adventure!
