We decided to hide some caches while out kayaking. Hopefully this series will grow as we find more locations (and find the time) to hide.
We need more caches around and in the lake!
This cache required some scrambling up a small rock.. The "climb" today was about 2ft from the water. The cache is about 6ft above the rock. The water is currently at an elevation of 1127. The water level can change, and so can conditions. Please have an anchor or tie off ready for your boat. Or even another cacher to supervise your boat. You do not have to attempt this cache! For what it is worth, I made the climb in my flip flops. Others might not feel as comfortable.
We are including a waypoint for a boat ramp that is close to the cache location. Pool's open, happy caching!
NOTE: Permission for the placement of this geocache has been provided by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Beaver Lake Project Office.
