When I need to get away and crave a nice drive 'out in the country', this is usually the road I find myself travelling. There are so many beautiful views of this river and the dam on it, well, I love it any time of the year.
Once you return to the road from the cache, check out the view down river.
*Please watch out for the poison ivy. I have included some images of the nasty weed in the gallery if you are not familiar with it. Watch your dog. They will not be affected by it but you may if you touch your pet and they have the oil in their hair. Wash your skin with soap and water if there is a chance you've got the oil on your skin. There are two large patches of the weed, one up the little hill growing at the base of the little evergreen tree, and another down below the road and you may navigate around it quite easily. The oil is on the plant whether it appears dead or alive.
