Itt megtanulják a méhek a mézet összegyüjteni. A méheknek az nem könnyü. Egész nap keményen dolgoznak.Ők végzik el a természet útján a virágok megporzását, és igy hoznak virágot a növények. Az ő munkájuk a virágpor összegyüjtése, amit ők a kaptárjukba visznek. Aztán
abból csinálják a mézet. Igy maguknak egy takarmánykészletet hoznak létre, ami egész télen ki kell tartson.Most akkor jön az ember és elviszi magának a mézet, egy finom reggelihez és rákeni a kenyérre. Azzal hogy a méhek a telet átéljék, a méhésztől egy mézpotlóval lesznek etetve. Itt Zalaapátiban van egy Méhek Iskolája, ami sok ezer méhnek egy jó otthont teremt. Sőt egy búszmegálló is a Méhek Iskolájáról lett elnevezve.

Hier lernen Bienen das Honigsammeln. Bienen haben es nicht leicht. Den ganzen Tag arbeiten sie hart. Sie sind im Auftrag der Natur unterwegs, um Blüten zu bestäuben und so Pflanzen zum Blühen zu bringen. Bei ihrer Arbeit sammeln sie Blütenstaub, den sie in ihren Stock bringen. Daraus machen sie dann Honig. Sie legen für sich so einen Futtervorrat an, der sie über den Winter bringen muss. Jetzt kommt aber der Mensch und nimmt ihnen den Honig ab, um sich ein leckeres Frühstücksbrot zu schmieren. Damit die Bienen trotzdem den Winter überleben, werden sie von den Imkern mit einem Honigersatz gefüttert. Hier in Zalaapáti gibt es eine Bienenschule, die vielen tausend Bienen ein gutes Zuhause bietet. Sogar eine Bushaltestelle wurde nach der Bienenschule benannt.
