#13 Walka Water Works

The course is 5000m (5K) long. The course is in Walka Recreation & Wildlife Reserve (Walka Water Works), Oakhampton Heights. The course is run on a mixture of gravel paths, dirt paths and grass. The course will start at the picnic area and follow the lake wall towards Rutherford. At the end of the wall (just over the bridge) runners will turn right. Runners will then travel along the gravel track along the western side of the lake. Where the track crosses the railway, runners will turn right and head towards the “Snake Gully” train station, continuing along the track to the locked gate. At the locked gate just past this cache, runners will turn and retrace their steps back to the finish
