According to Wiki, Sourgrass is a common name given to several plant species which have a sour taste. We have no idea whether this creek was named after the plant (aka wood sorrel), or if there is some other reasoning behind the name. Regardless, this is a nice spot to stop on your way to the coast from the valley or on your return. Plenty of room to park nearby. Cache is small but enough room for small trinkets or TBs. BYOP.
