This is a small cache placed close to the South Dudley Road entrance to the Wonthaggi Wetlands Conservation Park. The cache is a short walk from this entrance or you can park at the carpark and make your way around, although that is a slightly longer walk.
This is a lovely area which has been maintained with the help of volunteers. There are numerous paths to wander, and chairs are sprinkled around the area for you to relax and enjoy the view. Birds of many varieties are present and sometimes you will spot some kangaroos. Please feel free to feed the ducks, but not bread, try lettuce.
The walk is both wheelchair and stroller friendly and this is a great place to walk with the kids. It is also a great cycling track. Dogs are welcome but only on a leash. While the cache is near the entrance, if you choose to walk the whole loop, it is a 2.2km walk.
