Maculiffe Woods, Essex County Conservation area. This smaller, 9 hectare area is a perfect outdoor classroom for children. The trail, seasonal pond and wooded area are not only pleasant, but offer a short enough walk for even the youngest naturalist.
Large 2kg peanut butter container. Several small items. Very easy trail. Even little kids could help on this one. We saw several rabbits while here. Small bushlot on the edge of the city. I call it 3% because urban and farm land has taken all but 3% of the land use in our end of the province.
Would be nice if a few more caches are placed in this part of ontario.
