Geocache Description:

Hidden in the moss of the boyscout trail system there is new Ranger Station that you can visit. The ranger isn't often in, he is too busy patroling the trails, but you should still stop by and see what goodies he has left at the station. This cache was inspired by "Occupied" in Rochester, NY and I hope it adds a fun twist to geocaching. It is highly recommended that this cache be found with littles because they will sincerely appreciate the magic of it.

The fastest route to the cache has you parking at the first pullout for the boyscout trail system, the one that is unpaved and on the north end of Lake Margaret (Boyscout Lake). Follow the trail that starts at the yellow gate. The trail is actually on old WWII military road and if you keep your eyes peeled to either side of it you can see other remnants of a bygone era. The road has several offshoots, but there will be an obvious intersection with a metal pipe running near the road. If you continue straight you will end up at junk beach, take the road to the right. Keep an eye out to your left as you walk roughly south along this road. Before long there will be a trail that starts off to your left and with a long switchback takes you above and parellel to the road you were just on. From there, use your navigation and you should get to ground zero in no time. I know the GPS can be sketchy in the woods. I took the average of several bearings on my GPS to put in the coordinates so there is the potential that they may be slightly off. Trust your caching guts and keep your eyes peeled, this is a cache that is hard to miss.
