With the help of Lexington's Stormwater Quality Project's Incentive Grant Program, this company implemented numerous water quality designs and thought of ways our landscapes can do more! They installed a rooftop garden, which filters rainwater before it hits the ground, a rain catchment tank, a rain garden with plants native to Kentucky, and pervious pavers in their parking lot, which catches the water as it runs off and allows it to soak in the ground. Normal blacktop is not penetrable for water, and this is why stormdrains are so important for ubran infrastructure.
This is a park and grab cache and should only be found during daylight hours.
