Geocaching is a great way for families to get out into the fresh air and enjoy a fun and healthy activity together during the Covid-19 pandemic. To encourage more people to get out and geocache, I am removing the "Premium Only" designation from this and other caches to offer more choices for basic members to find. Cache on!
This is a two-stage multi located at Veteran's Park in Mentor. The listed coordinates will take you to Stage 1 where you will find a container holding the coordinates for the final stage. (Please do not take the coordinates with you. Leave them so each cacher has the opportunity to find this cache.)
Next you will follow the Mallard Point Trail until you reach GZ. Watch out for any muggle fishermen who might be in the area.
Please stay on improved trails as long as possible. When searching for the first stage, please enter the woods near the traffic circle where there is no underbrush. DO NOT bushwhack through the underbrush near the parking lot.
No night caching in the park.
