Feilding Walks
Awahuri Forest - Kitchener Park
This popular walk in Feilding is an ongoing project. Recent developments include upgrading the walkway from Rata st, tree removal, riverbank support, and planting of trees and shrubs. New bench seats provide comfort to enjoy the forest atmosphere.
My family and I enjoy frequent visits to walk, explore the fauna, splash in the stream and rock hunt.

Addit: Since placing this Geocache the Council have added warning signs to stay on the paths and boardwalk due to pest control efforts. I have been given permission by the council to have the Geocache in place. Warning! Please be aware of pest control traps or bait stations! And ensure muggles don’t see you off the path.
