Cache is NOT at the posted coordinates.
But it is a puzzle you can solve at home.
Difficulty rating is based on a S.W.A.G (Scientific Wild Analytical Guess).
Your opinion may vary. Opinions welcome and appreciated.
To solve this puzzle, you will need to print off the attached sheet (for all but the brainiest of geocachers).
The sheet has 9 octagon pieces inside a box with a geocache type icon at the end of each octagon section (you’ll see).
Once you print the sheet, cut the octagons out of the box.
If your printer will handle card stock and you have a sheet of it on hand, use that – the stiffer paper makes it easier to handle the cut-out octagon pieces. Optionally, for ease of handling the cut out octagons, you may wish to enlarge the sheet if you desire by whatever printing method is available to you (For example: changing the "Shrink to fit" printing setting to 200%)
Your challenge, by rearanging the octagon pieces, is to match the icons, at each place where one section of the octagon touches another section of an adjoining octagon (as if they were in the box – three across and three down).
Now, record the following information - - -
How many individual:
A. “Traditional” icons are touching each other? Total number: ____
B. “Virtual” icons are touching each other? Total number: ____
C. “Multi” icons are touching each other? Total number: ____
D. “Mega” icons are touching each other? Total number: ____
E. “Lab” icons are touching each other? Total number: ____
F. “Wherigo” icons are touching each other? Total number: ____
