This geocache is in the foothills of Albuquerque right off trail #365.
Easy hike from the Michael Emery Trailhead or Embudito Trailhead. We chose this area because it is a fun spot off the trail to climb around on boulders and get a great view of the city. There is a huge boulder buried in the ground that sits right next to #365. It is to the west of this geocache with an easy slope and gives you access to this "bouldery" area. The rocks have good traction and shouldn't be too difficult to climb. The geocache is a bright orange waterproof box with plenty of room to leave fun stuff. It is hidden under a boulder in a natural little cave, we had to stick a rock in front of it to hide it better since it would really stand out.
My family loves geocaching and this is our first geocache. There are currently 3 trackables in the geocache. Two we found in Oregon and brought back with us and one we just created that we hope travels the world!
