This cache is on a particularly nice section of the Alma Trail in the newly-opened Bear Creek Redwoods OSP. It's a large meadow with a clear view of the sky, and the birds seem to love it!
Update: The trail is now called the Upper Pete Siemens Trail.
You're looking for a custom container hidden within two or three steps of the trail. If you're across from a huge, dark, forboding looking oak tree, you're in the right spot. I considered hiding the cache there, but decided to go with something easier. The cache is visible from the trail if you're looking in the right direction.
Here's a trail map of Bear Creek Redwoods. Coordinates might be a bit iffy, so I'm including a good hint.
Bear Creek Redwoods is open half an hour before sunrise to half an hour after sunset. Bicycles and dogs are not allowed.
