Pine Mountain Adventure!

Many years ago, after a “misunderstanding” with the Marin Sheriff’s Department, I had to hideout on Pine Mountain. The Sheriff was annoyed that I “lost” one of their vehicles: 4-Wheelin' Azalea Hill.

It wasn’t my fault that their jeep went over the edge and tumbled down the mountain!

Anyway, the Sheriff was a mean person, and I had no choice but to run for it. I rode my ebike up Pine Mountain, and built myself a little shack off a side trail.

I’ve always looked back fondly at my time in my hideaway. During the day I traded trinkets to hikers, and at night, I cooked S’mores (I had brought a stove with me.) For water, I tapped into the Pine Mountain Pipeline.

I spent several happy months in my hideaway, until a search helicopter spotted my stove using infrared gear. Soon thereafter, they dragged me off to the Youth Camp on Rocky Ridge. My escape is chronicled in Escape from Rocky Ridge Youth Farm.

My old hideaway was recently discovered by geodarts in his famous cache: Neither Roy nor the Baron Slept Here.
