This cache has been hidden at Armstrong, between Great Western and Ararat.
Do not allow children/ pets to be unsupervised, to the the trafic on the highway
There is safer parking and better access on the side road.
Cache:
- This cache is a bison
- Make sure you bring your own pen
- This is a traditional cache, no tricks, nothing fancy.
Terrain:
- The Western Highway and Side Road are well maintained
- You will find plenty of room to park, near the posted co-ordinates
- The terrain has a slight slope, but is free from debris.
Parking:
- Do not park on the highway
- There is adequate parking close to GZ, on the side road
Muggles:
-Highway traffic, trucks, trucks more trucks, grey nomads, school busses, V-line busses and Footyball fans
- Local traffic, farmers.
- Council workers performing maintenance.
Other Hazards:
- Livestock, esp sheep
- Mozzies in wet weather
- Watch out for snakes in warmer weather, use a walking stick to tap the ground
- Watch out for kangaroos and walabies drive slow, esp at sunrise and sunset
