BenM70: After 115 finds and 2 favourite points I’m archiving GC8BQGC RRPT - Up the S Bend and giving the space back entirely to our resident possum. Too many times it has been interrupted from it’s slumber. Tis a shame as the view from here is still fantastic. How lucky are we to have this backdrop.
The real reason for archiving it is to collect the $1.50 I have racked up in swag plus Bo Peep, the little Leprechaun and the lady beetles.
Thanks to all that visited it. Cache collected for another effort somewhere else, maybe.

Geocache Description:

Townsville is blessed with a great river, and some fantastic cycling/walking trails that follow almost it's entire length. What better way to encourage cachers to get out and explore these trails but to line them with caches to form Townsville's first Power Trail.

This cache is placed as part of the RRPT Regeneration after the devastating floods of February 2019.

A large tree stands at the coordinates overlooking a bend in the path. Hard to believe the tree needed a boat to get to it during the flood.

Plenty of room for Trackables and Swaps in this one
