The cache has views across the river Trent towards East Bridgford and Syerston airfield where gliders are seen at the weekends. Syerston was an RAF bomber base during WW2 and Guy Gibson, (the leader of the famous Dam Buster's raid in May 1943) was based here earlier on in the war. There is offroad parking adjacent.
