Tolsti vrh (1715 m) Traditional Cache

Tolsti vrh je visok 1715 m. Je najvišji vrh Kriške gore, pogorja, ki nahaja zahodno od Storžiča in se strmo dviga nad osrednjo Gorenjsko. Z vrha se nam odpre čudovit pogled na Karavanke, kjer je lepo viden celoten greben Košute, Storžič, Gorenjska in Julijske Alpe.

Najlažji dostop do Tolstega vrha je iz Gozda preko Kriške gore. Planinec s povprečno kondicijo bo za pot potreboval slabi dve uri in pol.

Tolsti vrh lies 1715 meters above sea level. It is the highest peak of Kriška gora on west side from Storžič and rises steeply above Gorenjska. From the top there is a wonderful view of the Karavanke mountains, where the entire ridge of Košuta, Storžič, Gorenjska and Julian Alps are clearly visible.

The easiest access to Tolsti vrh is from Gozd via Kriška gora. An average mountaineer will need just under two and a half hours to make the trip.
