I drive past here every week on my way to the dog agility training center nearby. Since I have started geocaching, there have been two different geocaches that have come and gone from this location. So I am recycling the location.
This is the Barto Spring. It's not uncommon to see locals filling up on clean drinking water from here. The local creek is the East Branch Perkiomen Creek. I have always thought this is a very quiet and beautiful place.
There is good pull-off parking near the spring, across the road from the cache. If somebody is parked there you may want to try for this cache another day as it could get muggled. The road is not terribly busy but be careful when crossing. The cache is in a classic location. This hide is all about sharing the spring location with others. I love geocaches that show me someplace I might have overlooked. I used a Garmin GPS to obtain the coordinates but it was not easy to get a steady reading, so please use this hint as needed.
