Das rauschende Wasser der Salzach, die sich als Lebensader seit Jahrtausenden ihren Weg durch den Pongau bahnt, stellt eine weitere Kraft dar, die durch die Bewohner schon immer genutzt wurde. In unserer Zeit wurde durch Regulierungen der Lauf des Flusses an vielen Stellen begradigt und damit hat er viel von seiner Natürlichkeit verloren. Jedoch wird durch diese Kraft Energie gewonnen, die nachhaltig ist und uns von anderen relativ unabhängig macht.
Eine Radtour, ein Laufausflug, eine Wanderung oder auch ein Spaziergang auf dem parallel verlaufenden Treppelweg, gibt uns einen Eindruck davon, wieviel Kraft im Element 'Wasser' steckt. Daher ist dieser Kraftort ein perfekter Platz, um besucht zu werden. Schon jahrelang zieht der Tauernradweg tausende Touristen jedes Jahr an, die auch durch das Gemeindegebiet von St. Veit im Pongau kommen.
Wie das Bild unten zeigt, teilt die Salzach das Gemeindegebiet in die nördlich gelegene "Sunnseit'n" und die südliche gelegene "Schottseit'n.
Die eigenartige Form des Gemeindegebiets entstand am 2.Juni 1906, als die Ortschaft Schwarzach, die bis dahin Teil der Ortsgemeinde St. Veit war, durch Gesetzesbeschluss Kaisers Franz Joseph I. zu einer selbständigen Ortsgemeinde ernannt wurde.
So bot es sich an, an der engsten Stelle des Gemeindegebietes, dem Übergang der beiden Gemeindehälften, einen Letterbox-Hybriden in unsere "Kraftorterunde" (KOR) aufzunehmen.
Der perfekte Kraftort, um Durchreisende zu beherbergen, auch wenn es nur für einen kurzen Zeitraum ist. In St. Veit im Pongau ist jeder gern gesehen. Und kommt er auch von noch so weit her. Nun gibt es auch hier ein kleines TB-Hotel für alle "Erholungssüchtigen" und für jene, die auf ihrer langen Reise durch aller Herren Länder, eine Pause einlegen, Kraft tanken müssen und das Heilklima genießen wollen.

Noch ein paar Empfehlungen:
- Achtung! Muggelgefahr! Da es an den Fundorten von Lauf- und Radmuggels oft nur so wimmelt, seid bitte vorsichtig beim Heben.
- Bitte hinterlasst die LB und Stage 1 so, wie ihr sie vorgefunden habt!
- Bitte lasst den Stempel unbedingt im Cache! Die Letterbox und der Stempel wurden auf eigene Kosten beschafft. Darum, seid bitte fair und lasst alles an Ort und Stelle (außer die TB und GC natürlich). Eure Cacherkollegen und auch wir, werden es euch danken.
- Der Platz für Reisende ist beschränkt. Daher nur kleine TB oder Geocoins ablegen.
- Die Stempelfarbe in Kupferbraun stellt eine Reminiszenz an den Jahrtausende alten Kupferbergbau in St. Veit im Pongau dar.

You will find an information board at the listing coordinates, but no cache.
The rushing water of the Salzach, which has been a lifeline for thousands of years in the Pongau, represents another force that has always been used by the residents. In our time, the flow of the river has been controlled in many places and thus it has lost much of its naturalness. However, this power produces energy that is sustainable and makes us relatively independent of others.
On a bike tour, a run, a hike or a walk on the parallel running 'Treppelweg' (towpath) one can get the impression of how much power there is in the element of water. Therefore, this place of power is a perfect place to be visited. For years, the Tauern Cycle Path has attracted thousands of tourists every year, who also travel through the municipal area of St. Veit im Pongau.
As the picture below shows, the Salzach divides the municipal area into the "Sunnseit'n" ('sunny side') in the north and the "Schottseit'n" ('shady side') in the south.
The odd shape of the municipal area came into being on June 2, 1906, when the village of Schwarzach, which until then had been part of the municipality of St. Veit, was made an independent parish by law passed by Emperor Franz Joseph I.
So it made sense to include a letterbox hybrid in our "Places of Power Tour" (KOR) at the narrowest point, the transition between the two halves of the municipality .
The perfect and all-encompassing "Place of Power" to accommodate travelers, even if only for a short period of time. Everyone is welcome in St. Veit im Pongau. Especially when one comes from so far away. Finally there is a new small TB hotel for all "recreationals" and for those who want to take a break on their long journey through all corners of the world and enjoy the healthy climate.

A few more recommendations:
- Use caution! Risk of muggles! The place is often crawling with muggles, who bike, jog or hike. So please be careful when lifting stage 1 and when working on the letterbox.
- Please leave the cache (stage 1 and final) as you have found it or as it was the intention!
- Please leave the stamp inside the cache! The letterbox and the stamp were procured at our own expense. Therefore, please be fair and leave everything in place (except the TBs and GCs, of course). Your caching colleagues and also we will thank you.
- Space for 'guests' is limited. Therefore drop only small TBs or geocoins.
- The stamp color in copper brown is reminiscent of the millennia-old copper mining in St. Veit im Pongau.
