You have seen the red barns that dot our landscape and you wonder why did so many people choose red? It has been answered in many different ways, but it usually comes back to one element and what is that?

You can validate your puzzle solution with certitude.
They story I like the best is that people would seal their barns with linseed oil. To this they would add blood or iron shavings to the sealer. this would oxidize to a reddish color. Then as paint tech. improved the color slowly evolved into the fire engine fire engine red barns we see today!
