The LEC - Bimble on by and drop into the garden Event Cache

Although we are from the North East we have been visiting the beautiful village of Broadhembury regularly now for nearly 17 years because of a family connection.

We have come to love this lovely Devon village tucked away to the south of the Blackdowns Hills and now regard this village as our “adopted village” and “our home away from home.”

We have seen many changes in the last 19 years with friends we knew who have unfortunately passed away or moved from the village and we are delighted to have made some new friends both in the village and in the local caching community.

We hosted our 1st Geocaching event in the village in 2011 and it was a "rip roaring success". So due to repeated requests we hosted another in 2012 and again in 2013 and then again in 2014, 2015 and 2016 and so on We think it's getting a bit of an enjoyable habit!

As were now proud memeber of the LEC (League of Extraordinary Cachers) so
 we’ve decided to something differently and host a Pims & Strawberries Event in the Garden …no posh frock or hats just Pims, strawberries perhaps some cake too!
(none alcholic bererages will be avalaible)

We are happy to have dogs in the garden but please bring a lead so they don’t run a mock.

So this is chance for everyone to shrug off the workday blues and relax on a Bank Holiday monday with a drink and with caching friends or even meet new ones!
A chance to meet greet and chat over all the caches you can’t find or don’t know where to place or even swap coin numbers.

We even have a Multi cache in the village! How about trying it when you come over?
We might even let you know the name of the elephant in the tree! You’ll have to see Can you do the Broadhembury Bimble? (GC2DQGE) for that one!

The event will start at 1.00pm ( Pims & Strwberries will be served at 2.00pm) with the event lasting till to about 3.00pm on Monday 26th August 2019 (if you want to stay a bit longer we don’t mind).

If you have parked at Waypoint 1 were just up the road (The Old Colony ) please come through the gates to the right of the house. If you have parked in Waypoint 2 it's only a short walk up the road.

WE WOULD ALSO BE GRATEFUL if you could bring something to sit on like a fold away chair, we have a few but not that many. If you have a gazebo by all means bring that too!
