Welcome to the Puppy Power Trail! This trail is dedicated to all the puppies, kitties, bunnies, chickens, ducks, fish, turtles and hamsters I have babysat/housesat throughout the years and presently. Each cache is named for my fluffy, furry, feathery and scaley borrowed companions!
This is a very easy, flat trail to walk or bike, it’s about 1.4 miles one way, and you can park on either side, see way points for locations, but these are not P&G caches. Some caches will require a little “off roading” but the area is maintained and hardly ever overgrown! Best part, no poison oak, whoo hoo!
I’m so glad to have been able to place these caches finally! Most are size small with swag, but there are a few micros. Thanks to siennabanena for accompanying me on this hiding quest! Had to get my butt in gear since adacause swooped my first hiding location, as I’ve had my eye on this trail for about a year!
Feel free to leave stories about the beloved animals in your lives in the logs, I’d love to read them! Find below a short(ish) story about the caches namesake!
Daisy, Rizzo & A brood of Hens
Daisy, a yellow lab, is a tank of a little lady! Strong, fast and mighty, this girl is a wonderful doggy friend. Always greets me with a smile, nearly breaks my legs with her tail wagging and always keeps me company while watering the garden. When it’s time for walks, she walks me… I have no say in where she goes, I’m just along for the tow! She loves to play fetch but never gives the ball back, with Daisy, always have a back up tennis ball ready and hope she doesn’t pick them both up! Rizzo, her kitty sister, has the tiniest and most dainty meow I’ve ever heard! She loves to sunbathe, watch me play fetch with Daisy and loaf on her sofa and judge my piano playing. Both babies are very sweet and adorable, loving and friendly. There are also 8 hens in the backyard that like to scour the freshly watered garden for worms and other tasty things. SO MANY EGGS to collect, but they’re delicious and come in 3 colors, brown, tan and white! Love staying at this country-esk home with these animal friends!
