Dunmowin (Lorraine & John) are travelling around Oz and are currently freezing in our lovely state! They will be in the Barossa for a few days so the perfect excuse for a pub lunch at the Vine. Food as always is optional but they don't do a bad schnitty. Come along and join us for a catch up, meet these very lovely people, and share some caching stories. Here's a quick one.. We were introduced to Lorraine & John via text by FelixII while we were Cruising around New Zealand. We arranged to meet via the Geocaching messanging app in a small bar on the ship as we left Dunedin. We arrived at the bar and a lone couple where sitting at a table. I went up and said "Lorraine?", "Yes" she replied. "Ahh Dunmowin" I said....I was greeted with a blank stare. "Err...Geocaching"?...Another blank stare and a head tilt to the side.."Sorry, I don't know what you mean" she finally said. I apologised, explaining that we were meeting "a Lorraine" here (At this stage we didn't know John's name). Just then, Dunmowin entered and introduced themselves, after a hug with Lorraine, I was shaking hands with John as he introduced himself. "An easy name to remember as I'm John too!" I replied. As I said this, the man at the table sitting with the 'other' Lorraine piped up, "Oh, I'm John too!"...
OOoooOOOooo...What are the chances of going to a little used bar on a cruise ship in the middle of the ocean to meet Lorraine & John, only to have another Lorraine and John sitting there....
