Vous vous approchez ici d'une des deux queues de l'étang de Beaulieu créé au Moyen Age par les moines de l'abbaye de Beaulieu qui se trouvait pas loin de la digue. Il s'agit d'une réserve de pêche.

You approach here one of the two tails of the pond of Beaulieu created in the Middle Age by the monks of the abbey of Beaulieu which was not far from the dyke. It is a fishing reserve.
