Today's Woodbridge event happens to fall on Do Something Nice Day. This National Day is observed annually on October 5th and it is a day to be selfless and think about others. Today is a day to set a foundation of kindness that hopefully will stay long after this day has passed.
There are many ways to celebrate Do Something Nice Day. Here are a few ideas:
*simply smile and say hello to people you meet
*compliment someones great cache log
*take the time to listen to someones cache adventures
*offer to pay for gas while caching with geo homies
*perform cache maintenance for a geofreind
*Submit a worthy cache for a NoVAGO cache award
*share something of yours with someone else
*ask someone if they need help solving a puzzle cache
*climb a tree and sign a log for a geofriend
This month's event will be held on the 1st Saturday of the month and as always we will meet in the upstairs eating area of Wegmans. This place has plenty of food to choose from downstairs, but you do not have to purchase anything to attend this event. Please do not bring any outside food into the store that you intend to consume on the premises.
If you feel like hanging out with some laid-back geo-friends I hope that you'll be able to join us for a bit and chat. All are welcome; whether you are a first timer or a regular. Don't worry if you can't stay stay the whole time, won't be able to make it until later in the event, or you are just popping in for a few minutes to say "hi!" It's all good at the WM&G!
